Cox Automotive – divestment of Retail and Data Solutions Division to Vela APX

• Cox Automotive’s Retail and Data Solutions (RDS) business was an integrated provider of digital software and data solutions provider for automotive dealerships and OEMs across Australia and New Zealand
• The RDS portfolio comprised five established brands — Xtime, Radius, LeadDriver, SmartPublisher and FinanceConnect — enabling dealerships to streamline operations, enhance customer experiences and drive profitability across the vehicle lifecycle
• Vela APX — an operating group of Vela Software Group and Constellation Software Inc., one of the world’s largest networks of vertical market software businesses — acquired the RDS business as a strategic addition to its automotive software portfolio across Australia and globally
• Following completion, the business was rebranded as Indiqator Solutions, positioned for continued investment and growth under Vela’s perpetual ownership model
• During this transaction Miles worked closely with the US-based parent company and local Australian management team to successfully execute a competitive sale process from appointment to completion over a 7-month period
