Our team

Gareth Cope
Gareth is a Managing Director and Partner at Miles Advisory Partners, bringing over 30 years of corporate advisory and investment banking experience across Australia. He specialises in a broad spectrum of divestments, mergers, acquisitions, and debt and equity transactions.
Prior to joining Miles, Gareth served as Co-Head of Rothschild & Co Australia and previously worked at Citigroup. Gareth is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Actively involved in civic and community initiatives, he is also a Member of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation Board of Governors. Gareth holds a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Southampton.

Duncan Mann
Duncan is a Managing Director and Partner at Miles Advisory Partners, bringing over 20 years of corporate finance experience across Australia and Asia. Based in Sydney, he is a Co-head of the firm's national deal execution and day-to-day operation. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney. He advises public and private companies on complex mergers, acquisitions, divestments, debt financing, and equity capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining Miles in 2023, Duncan served as Managing Director, Head of Financial Sponsors and Co-head of General Industries & TMT at J.P. Morgan, and was previously Co-head of Financial Sponsors, APAC at Deutsche Bank.

Lloyd Way
Lloyd is a Managing Director and Partner at Miles Advisory Partners, with over 18 years of corporate finance and Mergers & Acquisitions advisory experience. Based in Melbourne, he is a Co-head of the firm's national deal execution and day-to-day operations. Since joining Miles in 2013, he has successfully advised numerous clients across key sectors, including industrial products, automotive, consumer goods, logistics, and business services.
Prior to his tenure at Miles, Lloyd spent five years in the Corporate Finance team at PwC, specialising in mergers, acquisitions, valuations, and financial modelling. Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours in Finance and Economics from the University of Waikato.

Rohan Manikath
Rohan joined Miles in 2016 and is a Managing Director and Partner at Miles Advisory Partners, based in the Melbourne office. He has over 15 years of corporate finance and Mergers & Acquisitions advisory experience, successfully leading sell-side and buy-side transactions in the Australian and New Zealand mid-market. Rohan has deep deal execution experience across the business services, consumer, technology and industrial sectors.
Rohan’s previous experience includes senior M&A advisory roles at PwC and KPMG, as well as venture capital investing. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law from the University of Auckland, and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

Ryan Jordan
Ryan is a Managing Director and Partner at Miles Advisory Partners, based in the Sydney office. He brings over 20 years of corporate finance experience, specializing in divestments, acquisitions, capital raisings, mergers, and strategic corporate relationships.
Prior to joining Miles in 2022, Ryan spent 18 years as a Managing Director in PwC's Mergers & Acquisitions team. He has deep transactional expertise across multiple industries, with a particular focus on retail and consumer goods, industrial products, food, and agriculture, including complex cross-border transactions. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and International Business, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and a Graduate Diploma in Corporations and Securities Law.

Alan Dassie
Alan is a Director at Miles Advisory Partners, based in the Melbourne office. He has over ten years of corporate finance experience, successfully advising private and mid-market businesses on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, divestments, and strategic reviews.
Prior to joining Miles in 2018, Alan held corporate finance and deal advisory roles at KPMG and a boutique corporate advisory firm. He holds a Master of Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne (Melbourne Business School).

Jack Atkins
Jack is a Director at Miles Advisory Partners, based in the Sydney office. He has over nine years of professional experience across corporate finance, financial due diligence, and mid-market business transaction services.
Prior to joining Miles in 2021, Jack worked in the Transaction Services team at PwC in both Sydney and London, and for a boutique corporate advisory firm in London. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Jackson Lowrie
Jackson has nearly 10 years of specialised investment banking experience and over 15 years of relevant professional services experience across Australia, the UK, and EMEA. Jackson has advised clients on over 20 completed corporate transactions valued at more than A$35 billion.
Prior to joining Miles, he held corporate finance roles at Moelis, J.P. Morgan, and Greenhill, with additional background in corporate accounting, tax, and commercial law. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Wollongong.

David Leung
David has over 10 years of extensive experience in professional services, transaction advisory, and corporate finance. David specialises in advising mid-market companies on mergers, acquisitions, valuations, and strategic capital structures.
Prior to joining Miles, he held key advisory roles at PwC, Crowe Horwath, and RSM. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University and is a certified member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Adam Scampini
Adam has over ten years of deep corporate advisory, M&A, and investment banking experience. Prior to joining Miles, Adam served as an Investment Banking Vice President at Deutsche Bank in New York, focusing on public and private company mergers, acquisitions, and debt and equity financings within the Consumer, Retail, and Business Services groups.
His prior experience includes investment banking roles at Mizuho and Wells Fargo, and asset management roles at J.P. Morgan and Jefferies. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Michigan (Stephen M. Ross School of Business).

Katie Hudson
Katie has over eight years' professional services experience, spanning consulting and corporate finance. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, she worked in M&A advisory at EY. Katie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/Finance) from Monash University and is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ.

Chris Eckberg
Chris has over five years’ worth of professional services experience across corporate finance and audit. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Chris worked in BDO’s Corporate Finance team where he was involved in a range of corporate advisory projects including M&A, financial due diligence, and IPOs for ASX listed and private mid-market companies. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) from the University of Sydney.

Alex Dennis
Alex has over 10 years of professional services experience, including more than seven years dedicated to mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Miles Advisory Partners, he held roles at Ord Minnett Corporate Finance and JEGI Clarity, a global boutique M&A advisory firm. Alex began his career at PwC within the Transaction Services team. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Trent O’Loughlin
Trent has four years of professional services experience across corporate finance and consulting. Before joining Miles Advisory Partners, Trent worked in Deloitte’s Corporate Finance team, where he gained experience on a range of buy and sell-side M&A mandates across a variety of industries. Trent holds a Master of Finance and Business Economics from the University of Adelaide.

Sam Lees
Sam has over four years’ experience in M&A, corporate advisory and due diligence. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he worked at PwC Wellington and most recently at EM Advisory in Melbourne. Sam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance & Accounting from Whitworth University.

Charlotte Cockerill
Charlotte has over four years of M&A experience. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, she worked at Lincoln International in London where she was involved in a range of sell side and buy side transactions. Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Durham.

Ayush Mahajan
Ayush has over three years’ professional services experience across corporate finance and tax advisory roles. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Ayush worked in the Corporate Finance team at PKF where he focused on M&A and valuation engagements. Ayush holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Matt Moreno
Matt has over five years’ worth of professional services experience across corporate finance and audit. Prior to Miles Advisory Partners, Matt worked in KPMG’s Corporate Finance team where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and strategic reviews for private mid-market companies. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double major in Accounting and Finance) from Curtin University, and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Flynn Peacock
Flynn has over four years of professional services experience in corporate finance. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he worked in BDO’s Corporate Finance team where he focussed on valuations, M&A, and due diligence engagements. Flynn holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Finance) from the University of Technology Sydney and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Tara Dubljevic
Tara brings over three years of professional services experience in both management consulting and corporate finance. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, Tara worked in KPMG’s Operations Advisory team, where she specialised in business operating models and strategy. She later transitioned to KPMG’s Mergers & Acquisitions team, focusing on mid-market buy-side and sell-side transactions. Tara holds a Bachelor of Global Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Monash University and is currently undertaking studies to become a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Kate Mason
Kate has over three years of M&A experience. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, she worked at Lincoln International in London where she was involved in a range of sell and buy side transactions focused in the Healthcare sector. Before this she spent around three years in the Corporate Finance team at PwC in Auckland New Zealand. Kate earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Accounting) and a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) both from The University of Auckland.

Luka Rinaudo
Luka brings over three years of corporate finance experience, providing lead advisory services across mergers and acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he was a member of PwC’s M&A team, where he contributed to a range of transactions. Luka holds a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours Class I) from the University of Queensland.

Alasdair Philip
Alasdair has over 3 years of professional services experience in corporate finance. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he worked at Perth-based boutique advisory firm Poynton Stavrianou, advising clients in the mining services and industrial sectors on a variety of M&A transactions.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (First Class) from the University of Western Australia.

Wilson Kearns
Wilson is an experienced corporate finance professional with background in transaction services and deal advisory across both public and private markets in Australia. Before joining Miles, he held roles as a Senior Analyst at VCF Capital and in KPMG’s corporate finance team, where he gained extensive experience supporting complex transactions and strategic initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UTS.

Alex Hooper
Alex brings over three years’ experience in corporate advisory and capital markets. Prior to joining Miles Advisory Partners, he was a member of the Corporate Advisory team at PwC in Sydney, where he worked on a broad range of transactions including buy-side M&A, leveraged acquisition financing, refinancings, and other capital raising initiatives. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

Lisa Donohoe
Lisa has more than 25 years of generalist HR experience in the corporate sector as well as through her own HR consultancy. Her experience covers a range of industries including high profile brands such as Coles Supermarkets, Commonwealth Bank, Morgan & Banks and Virgin Mobile Australia.
Lisa spent ten years in the professional services environment, firstly as HR Manager for Cutler Hughes & Harris, a commercial mid-tier law firm, then consulting to a range of smaller commercial law firms. Holding a Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in HR and industrial relations, Lisa advises Miles on all things people and culture to ensure a strong team.

Natalie Marciano
Natalie brings over 16 years' executive assistance and operations experience supporting senior executives across banking and entrepreneurial environments. Natalie holds a Diploma in Business Administration.

In Memoriam: Tim Miles
Tim Miles, the founder of Miles Advisory Partners, sadly passed away in a tragic accident in July 2025. Tim was a deeply respected mentor, colleague and friend to many.
His leadership, generosity and vision shaped the culture and values of this firm in ways that will stay with us all. His impact on the firm and the people within it cannot be overstated.
He had the reputation of being an incredible champion for his clients and his team, which earned him wide admiration across the business community.
In honour of Tim’s legacy, we remain committed to always championing a better result for our clients and continuing the work he cared so deeply about.
